Intimacy Of Christ

   King David despite his many faults and decision he made in his life, He was able to experience the intimacy of Christ  Describing it in song and worship threw out the book of psalms . This will be the first of many installments on how the psalms describe the way King David worship Christ as well as lessons and standards of how we in our lives need to apply the psalms In and out of worship

Psalm 1

            1.Blessed is the one

    who does not walk in step with the wicked

  or stand in the way that sinners take

   or sit in the company of mockers,

>Verse 1

• Our friends and associates can have an incredible amount of influence on this. It often occurs in a very subtle manner , unnoticed .

• Insisting on having friendship with those that mock what God considers important , we might fall to sin becoming indifferent to Gods will .

• We need friends who will build us up not tear us down , but we need not discard our friends who don't know Christ as we do, for they are lost souls .

• God will not judge based on race , sex , or national origin , nor should we as as fellow Christians .

• When we do the best we can to obey God he will bless us and the fruits of our labor .

     * ?i wanted to put a little side not here ,As some one recently said to me they  feel that they don't always feel fruitful  even when they abide by obeying , -Correct me if i wrong.

As a tree that grows fruit can not grow all year  round, , we as Christians will not always see the fruit of our labor, this is the times where Christ wants us to allow him to work in us-and us in him so that  when it is time for the fruits of our labor to grow we are ready and strong-enough in Christ and our faith is rooted firmly and deeply in the richness of his heart.

that when we foresee our labors they will shine and be plentiful.”

           

2. but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,    and who meditates on his law day and night.

Verse 2

•Being a follower of Christ we need to constantly meditate on his word .

•God wants us to this by reading and ask how it should be applied to your life and change it if need be , so it can be configured into your life with what God wants .

•Christ wants you to know him , he wants us to understand his scripture so we know what he says according to to his will for our lives .

3. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,which yields its fruit in seasonand whose leaf does not wither—    whatever they do prospers.

Verse 2,3

•Simple wisdom is defined  as the more we delight in the treasure of Christ  the more fruitful we are .

•If we stand  and continuously allow our selves to think and have attitudes Of those who mock Christ , it will take us away from our nourishment threw the Holy Spirit .

•It is willed in what ever God has planned for our lives to have contact with unbelievers so we may strive to witness to them In attempt to help the seek salvation  .

Verse 3

•Like a tree constantly reaches dealer and deeper for water to grow and bare fruit , so should we reach deeper and deeper after the heart of Christ everyday ,so our lives bare the fruit for eternal wealth and feel the blessing  he wants to bestow on us here on ear

4. the Not so wicked!

They are like chaff

    that the wind blows away.

5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,

    nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,

    but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

True Friend

True Friends will be there to pick you up when you fall , true friends Give there shirt of there back and don't ask for it to be returned.

A true friend will tell you what you need to hear not what you want to hear, But lie about your life to every one around you at that current moment(playing the victim) and you will have people telling you what you want to hear. Making your feeling better about yourself and never learning from the mistakes that you made or feeling bad for doing whats been done to that other person , It makes the other person out to be the bad guy in the former relationship , and you "play the victim", you will convince your self that what IS a true lie, to you in your mind  is  the truth, they say- if you tell your self something that isn't true enough times , you truly start believing it to be factual. True friends will not care what you did or what was done to you. they will help stand you back up and continue life and if so stear you in the better direction. True friends will pick up where you left off the last time you saw them whether it be a year , a day, a month or a century .

      Michael W. Smith Wrote a song back in 1990 Called:

"Friends" the lyrics of the course go like this

"And friends are friends forever If the Lord's the Lord of them And a friend will not say never 'Cause the welcome will not end Though it's hard to let you go In the Father's hands we know That a lifetime's not too long To live as friends"

" friends are friends for ever" , if the lord is the Lord of them'  This means that if God is truly in and around the friendship you we be able to look past  all your faults , your mistakes , whatever you did or what has been done to you. "And a friend will not say never" meaning is this , true friends will be there to pick you up when you fall , give the shirt of there  back and not ask for it back.

Proverbs 22:24-27

Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare. Be not one of those who give pledges, who put up security for debts. If you have nothing with which to pay, why should your bed be taken from under you?

The Way it should be

God designed intimacy only for after marriage, for a man and women to experience a intimate connection for the first time . Which is meant to hold them to each others Heart, Body, and Soul for the rest of their lives . As two Virgins come together, As the bible so instructs, A passionate love for each other , a healthy addiction for only that other person , a rich love poured into each others souls , a passionate desire for "Only One Person" for the One Man or Women God designed and created for you to be with. God never Intended for man and women to have premarital Sex and yet our society has taken "it", run it through the trenches, and absolutely Distorted it into what it shouldn't be .

We as a civilization Have made it into a game , Men have taken it and used it as how many "notches on the belt", "use it as a rebound", women have turned into a profit on the street corner  etc... , business owners have turned it into Entertainment,  the movie industry has created a multiple  billion dollar industry, TV networks and cartoon networks have salted kids and adult shows with the advertisement of sex, food industries have turned there food and beverage commercial into what they call "sex sells" . Its absolutely disgusting what our society and civilization have turned sex into. God designed it to be beautiful between a married man and a married women NOTHING ELSE .....
